Appeal for Suport
GivePhilly.org

After a loss of major funding, a number of nonprofit organizations throughout our region have joined forces to share marketing resources and raise money together. Looking for a unified and meaningful message, they turned to Paragraph.
Boys and Girls Clubs of Philadelphia, Cradle of Liberty Council of the Boys Scouts of America, Germantown Settlement, Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, The Salvation Army, Settlement Music School, Travelers Aid Philadelphia, United Cerebral Palsy, and YMCA of Philadelphia & Vicinity are among the many who have experienced recent funding cuts and joined forces through a new brand we created — Give Philly.
To introduce the new brand and appeal for funding support, Paragraph developed various tactics including an ad which ran in the Philadelphia Inquirer and a web page. The ad communicates the important roles these organizations play in our city and leads readers to the we where they can learn more about the organization’s work and make direct donations.
Paragraph will continue to build the GivePhilly brand in the coming year. Stay tuned. In the meantime, please show your support for our great city and make a contribution today.

Website Recognition
JEVS Human Services

Paragraph is pleased to announce that the website we created for JEVS Human Services has been recognized by the Association of Marketing & Communications Professionals with a Gold MarCom award.
This is just one of three websites that Paragraph has completed for JEVS Human Services. In addition to its main site, we have also developed sites for two of its programs: JEVS Home Care and JEVS Supports for Independence.
The JEVS Home Care site differentiates the service in comparison to similar non- and for-profit competitors. It clearly communicates the service’s offering to the many audiences it serves, conveys the importance of its connections to JEVS Human Services, and presents the steps individuals need to take to receive care.
The Supports for Independence site is a work in progress. Currently in Phase I, it serves to introduce the Payment and Fiscal Agent Services that JEVS Supports for Independence has begun to offer in Ohio. As it evolves, it will communicate the full range of services available to empower individuals to live independently at home and remain active in their communities.

Annual Report
Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians

What is the Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians? What does it do? Who does it serve? These are a few of the questions we’ve helped to answer over the past year.
Founded in 2003, The Welcoming Center for New Pennsylvanians is a nonprofit organization that works to promote immigrant participation in the region’s economic, political, and social life believing that these individuals can enhance the productivity, profitability, and stability of the region’s businesses and contribute to the state’s overall economic growth.
Facing a number of challenges, the Welcoming Center called on Paragraph to help them define their organization and its difference. Paragraph created a new brand mark and positioning line "connecting immigrants, employers, and communities." Additionally, we developed new communications collateral to speak to the organization’s many constituents including the region’s immigrants, employers, funders, and policy makers. Most recently, Paragraph helped the Welcoming Center create the first Annual Report in its history, as well as Career Guides that outline the steps immigrants need to take to obtain jobs in the state’s high-growth professions.

Annual Report & Planner
Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission

Our region is constantly changing and evolving, and in many cases, it is the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) that is guiding these efforts. Learn how Paragraph is helping the Commission celebrate its past successes and future opportunities.
Created in 1965, the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) is an interstate, intercounty and intercity agency that provides continuing, comprehensive, and coordinated planning to shape a vision for the future growth of our region. In short, they’re the people who make our region a wonderful place to live, work, and play.
To celebrate their achievements over the past year, and help their constituents make better decisions in the years ahead, Paragraph developed "Good Planning." Part annual report, part 2009 planner, "Good Planning" highlights some of the organization’s many projects that were completed over the past year and outlines the organization’s vision for our region in the years ahead. Additionally, Paragraph developed the concept of perforated postcards that can easily be removed, allowing our region’s story to be shared with friends near and far.

Product Branding
Xtreme Coated Cover®

Xtreme Coated Cover® is a new specialty paper offered exclusively through Millmar Paper. Looking to introduce the stock to the graphic design, printing, and package design communities, they called on Paragraph.
So, what’s so extreme about Xtreme Paper? Good question. Unlike most coated stocks, Xtreme Coated Cover has a unique coating that won’t crack no matter how complex or demanding the design or printing processes. It’s remarkable for packaging, promotions and a range of other marketing communications materials. To demonstrate Xtreme’s impressive capabilities and performance, Paragraph created a swatch book that invites designers and printers to play with the sheets and put the stock to use. Paragraph also created a new website that promotes Xtreme’s benefits and showcases the many remarkable pieces that have already been printed on this new stock.
Comprehensive Rebranding
Dixon Environmental

Paragraph recently completed a comprehensive rebranding of Dixon Environmental to help position the firm for growth in emerging industries.
As we reported a few Paragrams ago, the initial stages of our transitional strategy included developing a new brand mark and tagline, "Simplifying compliance. Strengthening business." that positions the firm as a business partner able to solve their clients’ complex regulatory compliance requirements and bring value to their business and its bottom line.
After laying the groundwork for the new Dixon Environmental brand, we have recently begun to start sharing the new Dixon Environmental story with a range of audiences through a number of communications tactics. These include direct mail that introduces the new brand and offering, advertising that communicates the firm’s offering to a range of industries, and a new website that speaks to many audiences and industries.

Website Redesign
Éclat Chocolate

It’s been a delicious and rewarding experience helping master chocolatier Christopher Curtin achieve his vision for Éclat Chocolate over the years. And luckily, that work has continued over the past few months.
Paragraph recently helped Christopher Curtin introduce his new Cocoa Sticks, a unique creation designed to be stirred into hot milk to create a "haute chocolate treat."
Our shining achievement is a new website that showcases the many remarkable creations of this master chocolatier and streamlines the shopping experience.
